THE Wedding of the Year!!!

My Aunt Lori got married on Saturday, May 24th at my Uncle Raymond's house in Chandler, Arizona. We were all so excited for Lori's big day!! She married Steven, whom she has actually known since she was a kid. They both went their separate ways but last Christmas, my Grandma and Steven's mom thought that it was be great to bring the two back together again. Well...the sparks flew and they are now happily married! They will be getting sealed in the Temple sometime next year!!!

(If any of the slide shows have stopped, just click on the "X" at the top right corner to start again!)

Joe and I flew out Friday night and stayed with my Aunt Barb and cousin Eric in Mesa. Joe and I rented a car and were lucky enough to be cruising around in a "caravan"!! We were laughing when they told us that is was we would be driving around in! It took Joe a little getting used to and we spent most of the drive with the back wind shield wiper going until we finally figured out how to turn it off!!

Saturday we started early. Our cousin Jonathan came over with his two girls, Lilly and Elizabeth and took Joe, Eric and I to breakfast at the waffle house. Then we went to their home in Gilbert and played the wii for a couple hours. It was a blast! We played a little bowling and dancing with the stars. Then we went and got some lunch at Serrano's. I was pretty tired, so we headed back to Barb's to catch a quick nap before the wedding.

We then headed out to Chandler for the wedding at 5:30. It was really nice. My aunt and uncle's home is set up perfectly for a wedding. Lori looked beautiful!! The food was yummy and so was the cake!! It was soo much fun getting to hang out with all the "Heyman" cousins. We rarely get to see each other, so we always get excited for the time get to spend with each other.

Half way through the reception, we noticed that Joe, Chris, Curtis, Taylor and Tim were all missing. We found them playing "Rock Band"!! It was pretty funny seeing them all rocking out in their dress shirts and ties!! After the reception, we hung out and played some more Rock Band. It was a blast!! There were some first timers: Jen, Ray, Diane and they did pretty well. Jen is quite the drummer!!

Sunday we had a nice lunch that Barb made and then we headed back to the airport. It was a quick trip. The weather was PERFECT!!! It rained Friday and Saturday morning and then stayed nice and cool the rest of Saturday and Sunday. We were dreading being in the scorching heat, but it never happened!! We had a blast hanging out with Eric!!!! He kept telling Joe that he was his "first best-friend" and that he can't wait for Joe to marry me so that he could be his real cousin!!!! He told me that I was his "second best-friend"!!

Congratulations Lori and Steven!!!! Lori is going to be a great wife and mom (Steven has 5 kids, so she is an instant mom!! We all thought it was really cute when they drove off in a mini van!!)

My cousin Taylor played the piano during the wedding and reception. He is AMAZING!! Here is a video of one of the songs he was playing. He is quite the "ladies man"!!!

"And theWinner of American Idol is David Coo..."?????

How ticked was I when I was watching American Idol and they were announcing the winner and my DVR stopped taping!!!????? The show went a little passed the scheduled time (10:00) and they had to wait until the LAST second to announce the winner and my DVR stopped right when Ryan Seacrest was announcing the winner. I heard David Coo.... and then NOTHING!!!! At least I knew he was going to say Cook. KROQ was making soo much fun of it this morning on the radio!! They were laughing at all the people who had taped it and didn't get to see who actually won because the tivo stopped at 10:00!! Figures that would happen to me! Oh well, I got to see it on-line a little bit ago.

BRADLI RUTH BROWN

She finally has a name...Bradli Ruth Brown.

When we were kids, we used to watch a show called "Hey Dude!" There was a girl on the show named Bradleigh and Shauna always loved that name. I love the name Bradli...so glad she has that name! Ruth is after our Grandma Ruth Heyman (my dad's mom). Bradli was 6 lbs, 2 oz, 19 inches long.

Jaden is finally warming up to her. My mom flew in tonight and will be there until the 23rd. I am soo jealous and wish I was there too!!!

BABY BROWN HAS ARRIVED....ON MOTHER'S DAY!!!

My sister Shauna had her baby girl this morning....Mother's Day!!! How awesome is that!!!???? My sister Lisa called me last night at midnight to tell me that she just got a call from Shauna saying that her "water had just broke"!!!! She is 9 days early and wasn't expecting her to come this early! I felt soo bad for her because there was no one around to come and stay with Jaden. Doug's parents are in Europe and my mom wasn't planning to go until the 20th. I wish I could of just jumped in the car. (It's things like this that make me sad that they are so far away!!) Luckily, Shauna was able to drop Jaden off at one of her friend's house at 1 in the morning. Poor Jaden was crying because he didn't understand what was happening. Shauna just told him that she needed to go to the doctor and would come home with a baby sister!!!!!!

I called Shauna on her way to the hospital. She was starting to have some contractions while we were on the phone....sounds fun...NOT!!! She couldn't believe she was coming this early. Luckily, she had just finished her room on Saturday so we were both saying that she wanted to see it!!

Shauna called this morning and told me that the baby girl had arrived!!! It was around 8:30 am Colorado time. She still doesn't have a name yet, but hopefully soon!! I will let everyone know when she gets her name! I can't think of a better Mother's Day present!!!!

YEAH....now i can start spoiling her!!! :)

My Chocolate Addiction...

How can you not just love this little face?????

One of my employee's sister's chocolate lab had 11 babies a few weeks ago. She is selling all the babies for only between $500 and $800...I WANT ONE SOOOOOOOO BAD!!!! They finally opened their eyes. Those precious blue eyes are to die for. I have to keep telling myself that it would not stay that tiny and grow to be pretty big, but I think I could grow to handle it! I think I should just go for it and just bring it to work and keep it under my desk while it "grows-up"!!

...Maybe not......but maybe some day!!
