Happy 5th Birthday Hillary...

My cousin Hillary turned 5 today....actually she turned 20! She is a leap year baby and only gets to celebrate her birthday every 4 years. This is her first time being away from home for her birthday. She is in school at BYU in Utah. Happy Birthday Hillary!!! I can't believe you are 20!! Boy does it make me feel SOOOO OLD!!! Hope you had a great day and hope to see you soon!

The Count Down Has Begun....

Just 30 more days until I set sail for beautiful Bermuda!! I can't wait and I am trying to be as excited as I can and pretend I am still not FREAKED out about my fear of sinking!! I got this cute card in the mail from my cousin Kelly to get me ready and in the mood. I guess I better start getting my summer and beach gear together and figuring out what I am going to bring. I am also soo excited to go to New York. I am going a few days before the cruise to hang out with Shauna since she will be there with a bunch of her girlfriends. It is going to be a blast! Joe is going to come and meet me when I get back from the cruise and we will spend another week in New York. I am really looking forward to seeing some to the spots we missed on our last trip in May of 2005. I really want to spend more time in Central Park. I am hoping the weather will be fine. I have heard that it can be pretty nice in April, but have also heard that it was so cold they were still ice skating!! I think I am going to have to bring two totally separate types of clothes...shorts for the Bermuda sun and jackets, mittens and layers for New York. Either way, I am really looking forward to RELAXING!!!

I found some pictures of the cruise ship we will be on. The name of the cruise line is Holland America and we will be on their newest and largest ship, the Noordam. I found out that my cousin's company will be the only ones on the ship. Not only will we have the entire ship to ourselves, but the cruise line doesn't even go to Bermuda. They are doing it just for her!!! I have to say that I feel pretty lucky that I am going and know that it will be amazing!!

Today is my brother-in-law Doug's Birthday!! I am sure he is having a perfect day since Dave, Lisa, Audrey and Carter are there visiting. I was having a hard time finding the perfect gift, so I just told him to go pick something out he wanted and it would be from me!! I hope you have a great day!! Happy Birthday Dougles!!!

Crab Cooker Cravings...

Monday night we met Scott and Megan at the Crab Cooker in Newport Beach. This is one of my favorite restaurants. I could eat there everyday! I only live a couples miles from it, but sad to say that I don't get there that often because Joe isn't much of a seafood eater. So, I was very excited that Meg wanted to go!!! We had a lot of fun with them and I am sad that they will be moving to Indiana. We had to make sure and get some pictures of this momentous occassion since there apparently isn't a "Crab Cooker" in Indiana!! Thanks for a great night guys and we are really going to miss you guys and especially Daphne!

Meg...Did you see "Girlicious"? It was AWESOME!! Can't wait to get together to watch it!!!

Cute Kate Bug...

My cousin Chris, wife Jenny and little girl Kate came to stay with my mom and dad this weekend because they had a wedding to go to. This was my first time finally seeing Kate and she is the cutest!! I love her hair and those cheeks!!! She has the cutest laugh and even knows how to growl. It took a while for her to get used to me, but once I pulled out my secret tricks (string cheese, toys and climbing the stairs) she was my little buddy. We went for a walk around Balboa Island. It was the most gorgeous day with bright blue sky. Then we had dinner at my mom and dads and hung out. They are driving back to Walnut Creek tomorrow. It was a short trip, but I was glad we got to see them and especially Kate Bug!!!

Today is my brother in-law, Dave's birthday!!! I hope you have a great day....what more can you ask for then to have the Super Bowl on your birthday!!?? It stinks that we can't be there in Canada, but we were able to talk to him today on ichat!! I hope that you get everything you want!!! "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!!"
